For those who are old enough to remember.......Remember the time when regular tv channels showed cartoons from 2pm to 6pm Monday through Friday ?

And on Saturday mornings they showed cartoons from 5am to 12pm ?

And on Sunday nights, WGN showed cartoons from 6pm to 8pm ?

Those were the days. I remember as a young kid in my JK/SK years going home at noon and watching The Flintstones.

How much is too much to be paying for cable?

I always see guys on here complaining about the price and talking about dropping it. I pay $72/month for Comcast HD DVR, on demand, and high speed internet (well, not their highest). But I have all the sports channels, minus NFL Redzone, but including NFL Network, NBA TV, ESPN Classic, ESPNU, etc. And I also complained and have gotten them to add Showtime and HBO for free.

Is that reasonable? I feel like it is. I'm under a promotion though.

I think that's pretty reasonable. I have a high speed internet, cable, phone combo and it costs much more. I think we're paying something like 300 bucks for everything.

Yeah.......Twilight got the teens in my area all confused now. Half of them want to be orange like the people off the Jersey Shore and the other half of them want to be ultra pale like the people off of Twilight.

They don't know what to do LOL.

They should buy those bronze spray things and spend copious amounts of time in the dark so their skin loses color.

So how many of you OSers going to be hitting the road pretty soon for the holidays ? Thankfully I just have to go to the next town over to my sister in laws house. Going to take the back roads there.

One of these years I should make the trip back to the midwest to see my bloodline. But not feeling the 1300 mile trip right now LOL.

Trust me, I don't like it. Rogers is a very money hungry corporation and while Bell is good their services are a little lesser than what Rogers offers. I might be a bit off though...

I have a bill somewhere let me see.....

Ah ok, Now I know why it's so high....Haven't paid the total bill and fell behind. Here's the actual bill. I'll round off so as not to give specific details:

Internet.......48 bucks
TV........... 68 bucks
Phone....... 33 bucks
Texes........ 20 bucks
extra charges..... 6 bucks

Total............. 174 bucks

Just spoke to one of my good buddies. He just broke up with his girlfriend of 3 years. I guess she has been sleeping around on him for a while. He made me with laugh with this comment today: "You know she's a slut when you go in without a condom and come out with one on!"
