Shoot, I work a 10 hour shift tonight, we're actually closed on Thanksgiving (one of two holidays... other is Christmas), then back to work on Friday for another 10 hour shift.
Ah well. I took off Saturday for a dodgeball tournament that I don't think we actually have entered yet... off Sunday & Monday too so I've got my mini-vacation.
NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills

I knew it would happen eventually, but it hurts bad anyway. I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye. My local Kroger store's beer special (24 oz cans 10 for $10) has come to an end after 4 months. The greatest 4 months of my life.
Excuse me while I shed some tears
My local Kroger is selling 1.75 liter bottles of Rum (Some ****ty brand) for 9.99. It's pretty much gasoline but it gets the job done so I have been enjoying it immensely. I know the time will come when that is going to end...until then I'll enjoy.

The celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Of all the professions, after all, few people are less suited to be suddenly thrown into the public eye than chefs. We're used to doing what we do in private, behind closed doors.
