Some Walmart stories from my friend in Kentucky, she is having a bad day.

1. She went grocery shopping at Walmart, cashier over loads the bag, jars burst through the bag and land on her foot.

2. She was cooking ground beef and noticed it was metal in the ground beef she just got from Walmart.

3. Upon taking the ground beef back to Walmart to get it replaced, as she is going back to her truck, a shopping cart somebody left in the parking lot rolls into her truck, leaving a dent in it.

It was one of those situations you can see your vehicle and see the cart rolling towards your vehicle, but you are so far away you can't run and stop it before it hits.

Oh and I have another Walmart story, been on the news up here for the past 2 days. It is a guy going around Walmart in the Albany, New York area groping women from behind.

They suspect it is this 24 yr old guy who was arrested today for raping a 19 yr old girl outside the Albany International Airport.

It's happened before. I was placated at a party with few sports fans.

I mean, I'm not happy about it, but it's not like this season means much anymore. I'm just hoping Gabbert can figure out some footwork in the offseason.

You think they legitimately keep Gabbert? There's at least one line of thought that they cut their losses already; it sounds insane, I know.

I'm buying a cheap drum kit this weekend. Hopefully I can pick it up to some level of competency, as I was able to do with guitar.

I don't think there's a legitimate argument to be made to get rid of a rookie QB who had no training camp to work, and wasn't even supposed to start this year. Even then, he's shown flashes that he's got what he's got to be. As long as his footwork improves, he'll be fine. If there's no improvement by midseason next season, I'll actually allow talk of releasing him. Even then, I think it'll be a bit too premature, but whatever, everyone can fly off the handle for all I care.

Schools will never make sense to me.

I was suspended a few times and sent to alternative school twice in HS.

I was sent to alternative school for getting in a fight that I didn't even instigate. Dude shoved me and said, "Hit me bitch".. so I did as he said and laid his *** out.. and I'm no billy badass..

I get why they send both kids, but at the same time it still bothers me.. dude shoved me so he had it coming.

If I have kids one day, I'll teach them to defend themselves. If they start the fight, that's a different story, but I'll never expect my kids just to take an *** whupping and then get sent to alternative school on top of that. Whether you swing back or not, you're still sent..

Also got suspended once for yelling a few cuss words after we were released from school to get ready for prom.. I thought it was funny, but the principal didn't.. lol.

That's one thing I don't miss about grade school, people getting in trouble for ridiculous/harmless crap like that. We were lucky...our principal and assistant principal liked my friends and I even though we screwed around on a near daily basis. Although they did get a little mad when we put an apple in the mouth of the panther statue in the breezeway, but no disciplinary action.

All things considered, I stayed out of trouble throughout school. I had a few incidents here and there, but nothing major. I know you hear this a lot, but our senior class was probably the last awesome class to come through our school. After that, a lot of the teachers retired or swapped schools and every class behind us just wasn't the same. The senior class that followed us was okay, but there was a severe drop off after that..

When I visit the school occasionally, things just look so much different to me now. I miss seeing a lot of my friends more often and all the fun I had on weekends, but other than that, I don't miss the drama or any other bull ****.

I got detention and in school suspension a few times. Even though I fought a lot in high school, it was off of school grounds. And at the time in Chicago, if you weren't fighting on the school grounds itself, they couldn't do anything to you.

And keep in mind, my high school was 8 blocks away from the train station and at least 1/3 of the school student population rode the subway train.

So it was plenty of fights that happened within those 8 blocks and plenty of fights that happened on the train itself. Especially when we made it to other stops with other high school kids.

And OMG, downtown chicago on state and Lake where the north/south trains intersected with the trains that went to the west side and south west side of Chicago, it was a war zone during the early 90s down there in that subway tunnel under ground. It was gang fights on a daily basis it seemed.

I haven't been back to my high school since I graduated. Never had any desire to go back. Hell I never went to any of my high school reunions either and so far we have had 2 of them.

It is nothing about that school that I miss.

In grade school I told a kid to stick another kid in the rear end with a clothes pin figuring he would say hell no....... He did it and we both got sent to the principals office....moron.
