I think my record was like 38 or 39 hours. The last few hours are a blur. It was just like being drunk.

About 14 hours. It was pretty brutal, I crashed for over 20 hours after that.

For me, about 36 hours.

I was the best man in a friend's wedding, but I had to cover high school football the night before. I worked until the wee hours of the morning and then drove four hours to my friend's parents house. I remember getting there and telling his mom I just needed two hours of sleep and she said "I'm sorry, but pictures are in 30 minutes."

I made it through the wedding (without losing the ring), the reception and then somehow went out with friends after the reception. I crashed hard around midnight and didn't wake up until 2 p.m.

Around 24 hours, which I actually got pretty close to about a week ago due to a sinus infection that would NOT let me sleep. Ended up missing work the next day.



I pull all-nighters often, but I usually make up for it by just sleeping in when I can. I never try to just force myself to stay up for incredibly long periods of time.

This is my life right now. Sinus infection plus a 2yr old that likes to get out of her bed at 3 or 4 am has me like a zombie.

I did 40 hours once. Worst day of my life, literally. Was in the army, worked a 12 hour night shift, got off at 6am, 615 knock on door, mom is dying/sick, I go see like 3 different people in my command, they get me to the airport, massive snowstorm, I am stuck there for like 8 hours, finally take off, land in Newark at 10, get home at midnight, get in another car, drive to philly, get there at like 145, my mom passed at 5am, I get home at like 8-9, have to break the news to my young sisters, get throug like 8 million phone calls finally black out at around 11am. Was nuts. Next day Titans lose the Super Bowl.fml

50 hours, when I was in middle school. Now, I'm almost 42 and still do 24-30 hours quite regularly. Sleep is a waste of time.

About 45 in college. Was writing a 10 page research paper and then had to study for finals the next day. Brutal. I was hallucinating a little bit during my Final and wasn't sure at times if I was asleep or awake.

Also decided to go to the barbershop after all was said in done, in about my 43rd hour. Bad idea. Was in the chair with my head bobbing and drifting.

Now I struggle to stay up to 2 or 3 am and am usually useless the next day if I do.

If memory serves it was just shy of 72 hours on ops is Iraq back in 2005. Slept so good when we got back.

Honestly have probably gotten to 36 hours or so. I always crash HARD after 24 hours.
