    eBay buyer protection

Has anyone ever had success with this?

    begin rant...

I ordered some posters from one of the eBay stores. They only had 9 negative ratings in the last year so I figured I was in good shape.

Then it all went to hell. 4/5 posters they sent me were wrong. So I sent them all back as instructed. They resend order, they leave out the only one that was correct the first time and are now blatantly lieing saying it wasn't in there and just assumed I kept it. Is it fishy they didn't say anything if I apparently didn't follow their instructions?

It's complete BS. The one that was originally correctly sent is smaller then they said in the listing, and they basically acknowledged this by re-posting the item. If I brought this issue up, they would just make me send it back anyways, which I can't do because they have it.

Hopefully their string of mistakes play in my favor. The listing was wrong, they say they have refunded shipping cost, but PayPal says they haven't.

I haven't had any problems, only one I had is where I won an item but then the seller said they didn't have any left. They immediately posted the same item though. I didn't follow up on it because I didn't have to pay, but relisting something after you did follow through with the sale should require a 30 day period or something before you can list it again.

It seems hopeless because it's my word versus theirs. Hopefully because their history of screwing up my order will play into my favor.

And get this, they advertise that you get 2-3 mini posters for free for ordering from them, first time I got them but the second time I didn't. Not that I wanted them, but it's just another shady thing they did.

        *Update*

They ended up giving me a refund on the poster they lost. Shipping too. I am still bitter, that is the one poster I really wanted. It was done through the buyer protection so I guess they felt the pressure and just wanted to get rid of me.
