Was that the Santa Fe? I have a buddy at work that just got one. He swears by it. Originally the Santa Fe was a mid tier SUV meant to compete with the likes of the RAV 4. But man, they really improved those things.

If you don't need a big SUV, I really can't recommend the Infiniti EX35 more. I really can't say enough good things about it.

That was the one, looked very, very clean in black with the trim

Hows the storage in the back for the EX35? The site seems to just show an angle from the back with one of the seats folded down. I dont need that much room that comes from the Santa Fe 3rd row, overkill at this point

Storage in EX is limited. It's not great.. For me it works cause I don't haul that much stuff.

Santa Fe is nice though. One advantage to the Santa Fe, you can buy like 2 Santa Fe's for the price of one EX35. I think the Santa Fe gets significantly better mileage as well.

The EX35 doesn't look terrible for storage, biggest thing I really use now on a normal basis is golf bags and that size looks like it can take 2 easily.

Luckily I have plenty of time to check it out models, I'm not going to buy until the winter time to see how they drive in the snow since some love to plow through like a tractor in turns. Gives me time too to start the dealership rodeo, the game I always have loved to play

Oh yeah, plenty of room in EX for gold bags, luggage, etc.

EX does come with some snow mode settings standard on all their model trims.

LOL.. Now wouldn't that be nice!!

I love Audi's. I prefer Infiniti, but Audi has great fit/finish.

I really love the new Audi sedans. They look so sharp!

I will say I love the direction Hyundai is going and my next vehicle will probably be one of those. They are reasonably priced and seem like great values.

Have the majority of you purchased the same "type" of car your entire life?

I used the family's 97 Blazer during high school...Which is why I ended up purchasing the 2000 Jimmy. The car is basically identical.

I was just curious because I have a feeling that I will only be able to purchase trucks that are very similar to the Blazer and Jimmy when I get older. I know I am never buying a car or a bigger truck.

The only truck that comes close to the Blazer/Jimmy are the newer Jeeps.

I would almost say yes from my history. I went suv while I lived in Alaska but then just bought imports since I moved to Arizona.

I love Audi's but the maintenance fees for them are comparable, if not more expensive than the same for Bimmers. Also, reliability has been a big issue, albeit they have improved.

Like others have said, absolutely beautiful car inside and out.

I would have to say yes as well. I have always enjoyed driving fast cars, while I have owned a truck or two in my life my passion is with sports cars.

Been a year since I bought the truck! The car is such a pain in the *** to clean when it is hot out. I am forced to do one section of the car at a time so I don't get streaks. Looks beautiful once the sun hits it though afterwards!

Bringing this back up, anyone test drive/own a Ford Edge? Someone around here has one and thought it looked pretty damn nice for being a crossover.

Edge gets a little bit less of MPG and runs a little bit more in the price tag than the Santa Fe.

This time around I've decided to look at any and every option of a car no matter what.
