Exactly my thought. I'm a huge fan of the minimalist look. They chose a color scheme that isn't over used. I can only think of the Spurs and the Raiders off the top of my head who use anything close. Simple is good. This is like the antithesis of the Marlins new scheme.

And they're both technically black and silver. I can't think of anyone besides the White Sox that uses just black and white. I think it can look really good. We'll see.

But at least the White Sox compensate for the plain colors with the stylish script SOX logo on the caps.

The Brooklyn Nets logo is just plain . . plain. It reminds me of the generic uniforms for the Winnipeg Jets when NHL 13 first came out before their actual uniforms were added in a patch some time later.

That's a great comparison IMO, they just look like a filler uniform to me as if they couldn't come up with anything. At least with some color it'd look a bit better.

I really like the new Nets stuff. Black and white is an underrated/underused color combo. I thought the font was generic at first, then I saw this:



And I was won over. Although a Dodgers style "B" would've been cool.

I disagree completely. I hate it when teams use another team's identity. They'd look like a high school if they did.

I like the logos but I'd be lying if I didn't say I wish they would have done something a little more than a basketball with a B in it. I kind of wish they would have incorporated a bridge into the logo or something to make it stand out.

Not that anyone other than SPTO and myself will care but the CFL is unveiling their league-wide jersey re-designs today. I just seen the new Hamilton Tiger-Cats jerseys on Twitter and I approve.
