No, from what I understand, they have two sets of turf, and since it rained a lot recently they brought out the dry set.

You're half correct. He gets a say in the uniforms starting in 2014, this season the uniforms aren't changing. And all those helmets are just prototypes. The only ones that might see the field in 2013 are the black one with the Double T, and the white one with the Double T.

It's all good man. It's just one of those random little details that I'm not sure many people actually know about.

Other than the year, you are correct. Kingsbury has creative control of the uniform written into his contract.

Yeah, the show I was listening to made it out like he personally designed all the helmets because he tweeted a pic of them. They even went as far as to say something like, "You would think he put that in his contract to prevent these things from happening, but I guess not."

1) I agree, love the red tops on the Phils.

2) Short sleeves eh? Why don't they just give them an undershirt with sleeves and wear it under the uniform top the way Patrick Ewing and some other members of Georgetown used to back in the day. I actually thought that was a neat look.

I don't see any issue with sleeves as I already see kids with tees and UA gear under their jerseys.

...but adidas can **** up a jersey. Them zubaz jerseys from a year or two ago come to mind.
