Red the year before, white last year, I believe blue is the next logical progression.

I wish they scrap that idea. I'm all for doing something patriotic on certain holidays, but the hats just doesn't work in my opinion. I think what would be really cool is have teams wear their own uniforms, but change the colors to red white and blue. (Something similar to the St. Patty's day jerseys the Phillies wore in ST)

Then again, it might look stupid. I'd have to see it I giess

since most teams colors are either Red or Blue (or sometimes both), I think the home team should wear red while the away team wears blue (because Blue/Grey looks better than Red/Grey) at least. Especially if Navy is one of the away teams colors (Braves, Brewers for example already have Navy/Grey uniforms so nothing will change)

Or just put flag patterns in the logos on the caps and jerseys like some college football teams (Air Force, Louisville) did on their helmet decals on 9/11 this past year.

I thought about this too, but I would like to see it be more widespread. The hats was a good idea, but I just hate how it clashes with certain teams (EX:Rockies)

I guess my idea would be something along the lines of this for every team:

That would look HORRID with the Jays... I know why they take part in those promotions but it kinda irks me that a team based in Canada has to wear a US flag colored hat on July 4th. Oh well at least this year the Jays will be at home for Canada Day and will wear a Canada Day uniform.

That does seem illogical for a Canadian team to have to wear a U.S. flag uniform on July 4th. But then when you think about it, every team has foreign born players on their rosters that are wearing colors to celebrate the independence of a country that they are not even citizens of.

They haven't shown it at the gala yet, but I like it too. Very good. I suppose I'll have to change the color for my WAS in the sig now.

I don't like the Wizard logo itself. The colors are too... deep for that logo, I think.
