        Sometimes simpler is better. I don't mind that helmet at all.

                                There's nothing wrong with the uniform per se but it doesn't invoke "Detroit Pistons" to me.

                                                            So, some history will be made Saturday that I know Dayman and some others will love.

                                                            As you know, the LSU-South Carolina game was moved out to Baton Rouge today. South Carolina is wearing white despite this being a technical home game for them, making it the first time LSU has worn purple in back to back games since 2009 when they wore it for ULL and at Mississippi State.

                                                            It will also be the first time LSU has worn purple in Tiger Stadium for an SEC game since 1994 against Alabama, since the Bring Back The Magic Game was the 1995 SEC home opener against Auburn.

                                                            I was a year old.
