PITTSBURGH —The Pittsburgh Penguins will wear their "Pittsburgh Gold" uniforms -- a throwback to the 1980s and '90s -- at all home games in the 2016 Stanley Cup playoffs.

When fans enter Consol Energy Center for the games, they will be given gold t-shirts and rally towels to create a "gold rush" effect in the crowd.

It's sounding more and more like the Pens will indeed be bringing back the Pittsburgh gold as the primary uniforms for their 50th anniversary season next year.

So the University of Buffalo corrected their wrong and switched back to "University of Buffalo" after their bad switch to " State University of New York at Buffalo"

It's sounding more and more like the Pens will indeed be bringing back the Pittsburgh gold as the primary uniforms for their 50th anniversary season next year.

They already made it official awhile ago.

Well they still are the State University of New York at Buffalo and UB technically stands for University at Buffalo, not of Buffalo.

But they did correct the awkward wordmark.

I feel like the Jazz either change uniforms too often, or just never feel like they finished the first change. It's like they knew they should have ditched the mountain logo with the color scheme change a few years ago, so now they pull the trigger. Aside from the sleeved jersey and the somewhat boring alternate, looks like a good move given the other teams that have gone with the modern retro look.
