I bet these are the first of Oregon's new uniforms for next year. I bet they have their more traditional helmet in addition to this going forward, but I bet they'll have a whole new set of uniforms matching this next year.

I'll tell you what that helmet does, for me.

It convinces me that the Mizzou helmet that was floated in the Uni Updates thread was, in fact, actually real.

Well apprently there was an edit to the slideshow. There is a White O on the back of the helmet

Ugh. I wish Oregon would remember that their school colors are green and yellow, not a mix of green/yellow/silver/black/generic Nike colors.

I'm curious JJ, what exactly is a "generic Nike color"? Are there generic adidas colors? Does Under Armour have a color? What about Russell, do they deserve a color?

they only use the neon yellow for Oregon. And you didn't answer my question. Does Nike own that shade of yellow? Does adidas or Under Armour have a color that they just up and own?

That "highlighter yellow" has been used for Oregon for 10 years now. As has black. Those are school colors.

It's not Nike alone that most of us have the problem with. It's every uniform manufacturer that produces **** like that. **** that's shiny and meant to attract high school kids. I guess it's working on you, huh? Some of these designs are pretty neat, but now companies are trying to one up each other with the flash and the "innovation". The descriptions of the products are laughable. Call it what it is, the designs are solely for recruitment and for name recognition. The unfortunate thing is, is that it's working.

I swear some of yall don't even think about what you're saying most of the time, it's just a wash and repeat of what everybody else says.

High school kids don't commit to Oregon because of the uniforms. That has to be one of the biggest myths in college football.
