The V Foundation logo in the upper right hand corner kinda gives it away.

Not really... Only if you know what the V Foundation logo is. Otherwise it's just a pretty generic patch on a red jersey that just says "State" with a horrible sublimated image of a net.

Thought the V foundation was a relatively well known organization, my bad.

As for the uniform itself, its Adidas so I figure everyone will hate it. Much like if it were Nike everyone would love the subtle imagery of the Net and the excellent tribute to Jim Valvano.

(to be fair however, Adidas hasn't exactly wowed me this year or anything, but I really like these uniforms for the symbolism without being gaudy[like Nike's Army/Navy uniforms] just figure from the last three or four pages that Nike can do no wrong, and Adidas can do no right)

It's more of a Nike/Under Armour and even Russell do less wrong than Adidas for the most part. The problem here, is that Bruins doesn't like the way that NC State markets itself. And I don't think many would like the net in here because of their aversion to random lines in most instances.

I understand where Bruins is coming from. If you didn't know that's how NC State marketed their teams, you'd more than likely believe that this was just one of those generic jerseys from an insurance commercial. I mean if you take away the Adidas logo, that's the first thought on their football uniform if you don't catch the small NC (which was actually liked in here if I remember correctly):

False. I (and other US) may hate adidas, but I am not willing to hate something just because a brand did it. We give credit where it's due. We're not some little Lukas jerkoffs that hate every single thing a brand (Nike) does. For example:

Thing is nc state markets themselves for in state buyers because in reality very few people outside of North Carolina care about them. There was a big marketing ploy this year in nc where nc state put up billboards around the state saying "this is our state". Other thing is in North Carolina everyone refers to nc state as "state".

Could that mean a full throwback uniform? Looks like they're going for their mid to late '80s look when Mike Gottfried was head coach.

Cool, don't think they've brought those throwbacks out in a good 10 years or so. Just wonder what color facemask they'll use. Could be gray, yellow, or white.
