I have seen the jerseys already and can confirm some of your items from today. The jerseys do not have side panels but there is a truncated stripe on the pants. The jersey I saw was an authentic but saw no player name on front. The name on back is same font type as number and what was released for the primary logo. Helmet is black in front and gold in back. Logo is larger but not full on the side. There are black home, white away, and teal alternate versions. Also, the “chrome” stripes aren’t really chrome. The jerseys are flat and these stripes are “shiny” or just reflective black.

I read somewhere that its going to be mostly gold but fade into black...similar to how San Diego State's helmet was. Also, its supposed to have an oversized logo. In other words, don't get your hopes up.

Dammit JJ, if you're going to complain about the number of helmets a team has, at least stay current on them. They haven't worn those in years.

I think they are/were trying to stick with the military theme and have the last name on the front like you would see on military uniforms, but hopefully that idea gets scrapped.

Even though the helmet is going to suck hard, I'm pleasantly surprised that they've brought more teal back into the uniforms.

I mean if they did it right it wouldn't look that bad. It would be a nice unique aspect fitting with the theme.

Now why is there a military theme? If this was something done at one of the acadamies I would be fine; but why in Jacksonville?

My thought exactly. Even if there was a huge military base in Jacksonville, it wouldn't make any sense for the Jaguars to be military themed.

They are now the Jacksonville Judge Advocate Generals. Military themed uniforms are now mandatory as they uphold the UCAFJ (Uniform Code of American Football Justice). They are led by Vice Admiral Shad Khan.

No, I was telling everyone else. Obviously, it's all a front for Admiral Khan.

Either way, it's a decent enough business move to appeal to the military presence in the town, and from what I can tell, Jacksonville fans respond to the team playing to the military basis. Not me, but others that go to BigCatCountry and such.
