Football probably because it's the sport I have listened to the most on the radio. I've just gotten used to it. Baseball is a close second. It helps when you have good announcers to listen to. Paul Allen is a great for the Vikings and so is Pat Hughes for the Cubs. Gonna really miss Ron Santo in the booth this year. He was hilarious.
I hate basketball on the radio.GT: Herkyalert

Re: What sport can you most tolerate on radio?
I sometimes prefer baseball on the radio more so than watching it on tv because its one of those sports I can do something else and listen. One of my favorite things to do is chill hanging by the pool and listening to the baseball game. I'll do chores and whatever. Now that i finally have an app on my phone that picks up my baseball station i'll be out more often listening to the game.
Any other sports i'm in front of the tv sitting on my *** and with baseball I sometimes doze off and miss some innings.Comment

Re: What sport can you most tolerate on radio?
Ive listened to baseball, football and hockey on the radio and enjoyed all of them. I would put football first as when I was younger I would go to sleep with the Cowboy game on if it was a night game.MLB: Texas Rangers
Soccer: FC Dallas, Fleetwood Town
NCAA: SMU, UTA
NFL: Dallas Cowboys
NHL: Dallas Stars
NBA: Dallas Mavericks

Re: What sport can you most tolerate on radio?
Baseball is really the only sport I can stand to listen to on the radio, everything else I gotta see what's going on. I can't stand to watch it on TV but love it live.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Re: What sport can you most tolerate on radio?
I listen to every Alabama football, baseball, and basketball radio broadcast that I can. I'll mute the TV and turn on the radio.
Naturally, I also love listening to Tampa Bay Bucs games and any MLB game. Radio broadcasts are more interesting to listen to than national announcers.Twitter

Re: What sport can you most tolerate on radio?
I listen to baseball on a daily basis when I take my dog for a walk. I dont mind listening to other teams if the Rockies aren't available.
Basketball playoffs I'll listen to if its the Nuggets. I'll listen to the Broncos on the radio when I'm on my way to/from a roadtrip and if the announcers on TV are just intolerable (Phil Simms, Wilcots)Aaron

Re: What sport can you most tolerate on radio?
I love to listen to baseball on the radio, especially Eric Nadel for the Texas Rangers. When I was a kid, my folks would watch the game in the living room and I would go to my room and listen to it on the radio just to hear Nadel and the late Mark Holtz. I still like to listen to the game and enjoy the "theater of the mind."
Football is ok on the radio, basketball is tollerable, and hockey is horrid (even though they do a duel TV/Radio broadcast for the Stars). Racing is good only if you are at the track IMO.Rangers - Cowboys - Aggies - Stars - Mavericks
