How much attention do you pay to celebrities private lives?

Not sure if this was better suited for here or the Entertainment section.

With shows like TMZ and the fact that at any given grocery store check out aisle can find several different magazines focused on the inner most details of celebrities personal lives, how much, if any, interest do you have in these things?

Personally, TMZ makes me sick. The fact that there are people out there who just do nothing but hound famouse people is just creepy and disturbing. I also understand that it comes with the territory of being in the spotlight and making millions of dollars, but if the regular people of this world didn't care so much, then these people likely wouldnt be doing what they do.

I do enjoy reading articles and interviews of my favorite athletes and musicians, but beyond that, I have very little interest in their day to day lives.

I was just wondering if there were any celebrity gossip hounds out there that were just addicted to this stuff.

Outside of Charlie Sheen for the shortest amount of time, I dont care at all.

I would love to act moncho or tough and say none, but I would be lying as would most who say none.
It is my secret pleasure, I will pay attention and love to watch E with my wife sometimes.

What made me think of this was a news story that said Lebron's mom was arrested....and all I thought was who cares and why is this news? She's not famous, her son is.

Well in that case it's someone close to a famous person. It's going to be news because she's accused of assaulting someone. I don't know if she did or not but hey, it's news.

As to your original question I don't pay much attention at all to it. I do admit when I was younger I would buy a copy of the National Enquirer once in a great while but it wasn't like I was personally invested in that stuff.

I don't have a particular interest, but celebrity news/gossip is all up in your face if you follow mainstream media.

I pay Zero attention to celebrities in general, so I pay even less attention to their personal lives, if that's even possible.

I couldn't care less. I do follow some musicians and athletes like the OP mentioned, but I follow what they're doing in their careers and not the day to day things on twitter like "i'm eating a sandwich" or "what underwear should I wear today?"

I don't give a damn about celebrities. They just need to entertain me, they can do whatever they want in their own personal space.
