I was last night. I know who did it. But I don't have proof. They took from me Madden 11, Dead Space 2, Far Cry2, Gran Turismo 5, and WWE svr 2011. and some movies. Does anybody have any stories and how did you resolve them?

I was robbed in broad daylight in Chicago on a Sunday afternoon at a major intersection when I was 11 years old. It was 4 teenagers, around 18/19 years old.
Sure I only had $25 but still. Teenagers were never found. -

My parents house has been robbed twice. First time, we didn't have a security system yet so they raided the house. All tv's, dvd's, stereo equipment, jewlery, my ps2(this was 2002), ps2 games, all of it.
Then they got ADT and in 2004 got hit again. They only got away with the TV out of the bedroom that time because the alarm went off and scared the **** out of them.Twitter

Just want to point out that robbery includes intimidation or physical force. If no one was home, then it was burglary. Actually, burglary is the act of getting into someone's property, which then can lead to theft.Comment

I was robbed by a group of kids in HS. I was walking with a friend from school (he was about 6'1" - 6'2" and I'm 5'7") They took him to the side and one of them put a knife on my stomach and took my CD player. Thankfully I wasn't hurt or anything. It also doesn't help that I went to Cardinal Spellman HS and the school is surrounded by a dangerous neighborhood.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Well, I had a couple of Sega Genesis games stolen (this was late '94/early '95) by some guys who were SUPPOSED to be remodeling our bathroom. Not sure what day it happened, but I remember the Friday of that week I was gong to sleep over my cousins house and was looking for NHL 95 and it was nowhere to be found. Sonic 3 was also missing as was the case for one of the 2 games. They did a lousy job on the bathroom too.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

So in this instance, if the OP asked "What is your favorite MLB 2K game?" and several people kept replying "MLB 11: The Show", you'd be alright with that? "99% of the population" that don't play sports games wouldn't know the difference, but there is that one percent (or whatever hyperbole you want to use) that take it seriously and just want to educate on which is which.
Perhaps I just want the OS community to be smarter than the average 99 percent of the population. What's wrong with that?
