    Fitted Hats

Anybody know where I can find MLB Fitted hats that are made out of 100% Wool online now a days besides ebay? I can only find 2 Mets wool fitteds so far and they have they 86 and 69 world series patch on them... Don't really want that but just looking for a Wool fitted as the Polyester ones I feel dont fit right and are way too big all around... they sit way too high on your head and the brim seems way longer... Truely appreciate it if someone knows

Lids.com is good, as well as the online New Era store...

    Google!

      Re: Fitted Hats

Lids.com doesnt sell Wool fitted on field hats... The only 2 Mets fitteds they make that are wool are the 86 and 69... The new era website is the same as lids... And I have searched google to no avail....

Was hoping someone that had experience in buying wool hats for the same reasons I stated recently could help me out... Oh well

I guess all they make now is this 70% acrylic and 30% wool... Why did they stop making 100% wool hats? Kinda sucks, I hate how the Polyester hats are..

Only one I saw on Amazon

          http://www.amazon.com/New-Black-Whit...4641960&sr=1-4

Thats the only wool one listed, the old ones are going to be hard to find because its been awhile since the new 5950 came out, most stores have sold off the old stock by now.

Anybody ever seen or had one of those low crown from new era? That is one of my dislikes is how high the crown is on the newer hats. Ive never seen one in the stores and dont want to just purchase it from seeing a picture... The new era people have a live chat but they really werent of much help unfortunately.

I appreciate the effort, and I agree New Era or nothing, but just looking for a wool hat. Guess I'm gonna have to go the EBay route.

                  Interesting...

I have about 30 caps from Lids / New Era and they're all wool...

But come to think of it, they're all from 5 to 15 years ago (or so) so I guess they changed the materials along the way...

                  Anyway:

I always get Low Profile / Concealer / 39Thirty / Flexfit, etc. because I also prefer hats that don't have that big box-y crown...

Drew Pearson used to make those as well, with various beer brands as designs...

No wonder my hat purchases have slowed...

They seem to have stopped making the kind I like (and the ones I have held up great too)

Please let us know if you find any more leads...

                  Thanks!

                    Re: Fitted Hats

New style came out in '07. Apparently the new polyester also prevents stinking but I've never had an issue with that on my 100% wool hats.

                        Well, that explains that...

                        Thanks!

I've also had luck at flea market / swap meet situations with this as well, OP...

Probably more dead stock (before the change in materials) available at those kind of places...
