    PayPal Customer Service is Worthless

Due to the Sony breach, I've been removing most of my financial info from online sites.

I logged into my PayPal account to remove my bank and credit card only to get a message saying I can't do it because there is a pending instant transfer. I haven't used my account in over half a year so I don't know why that's happening.

I want to call in and than I find out they don't even have a toll free number. So the only other option is to write in and after going through a billion steps I finally find the right option. I emailed PayPal on April 26th and still haven't received a response.

It's amazing how a company can be so successful despite the fact their customer service is terrible.

Is that the number you had? I had to call them because I had an old card on there and charged something to it. They helped me out just fine.

Yeah that's the number I have. The problem is that it's a Nebraska area code (where one of the PayPal offices are located) therefore it's a long distance call for the majority of their customers.

Most people who are using PayPal probably have a cell phone and have free long distance anyways.
