I know this is pretty cheesy, but I know of a particular type of salsa that she loves. So I considered getting her some as sort of of a funny gift. Loves as in we had an end of semester party and she brought 2 things of it and went through one by herself over an hour and a half.

BTW since she is so attractive...I'd honestly playfully cut her down a time or two. Key word: playfully

This totally, but if you don't know what you're doing then it can backfire dramatically. Since you're mini-golfing, clown her when she makes a bad shot. Something along the lines of "Have you ever even played this before?" You knock her down a peg but it will also get her talking about the last time she played or whatever. Girls like talking. Later when she makes a great shot you can joke around and play it up how she musta been bluffing earlier and wasn't trying.

The bet thing is an ok idea, but give her the option first of setting what the bet is. If she puts the ball back in your court and you don't feel like pushing the kissing thing then make it something mutually fun for both of you - the loser has to go play a round in the arcade of Dance Dance Revolution or has to go to the picture booth and make the funniest faces they can make and let the other person keep the pics.

First date it's a little creepy but no doubt remember it. Pulling that little piece of information out at a later date will get major brownie points.

I wouldn't be hung up on getting a kiss on the first date. Just make sure you get the invite for a 2nd date and go from there.

What I would do:

Make that a part of the mini golf game. Like I said, make a wager. You win, you get a kiss on the cheek. She starts thinking about what she wants to wager. Well you can solve that for her.

Tell her that you have a jar of that salsa waiting in the car for her as her prize if she wins.

Next step: whoop her butt in mini golf while talking some trash about how you're going to enjoy that salsa after your kiss on the cheek. Obviously in a flirty way

When you get to the car have a bag of chips and talk about how your victory made you hungry.

Bust out the salsa/chips and eat them right in front of her exaggerating how great they taste.

Obviously after a couple chips and teasing her how you're not giving a loser any chips, share.

Then go from there

Even if she beats you:

Give her the salsa, then have the chips in there as well. Talk about how you would trade some chips for a kiss on the cheek.

It's whatever you feel like doing, that's just a little something I would cook up for the date.

Question though: Is this your first EVER date or just your first date with this particular lady? If it's the former, then how were you on your other dates? Or how do you think you did on them?

Ahh the date wager. Played that card myself several times. I go for the win/win bet.


If you win the game of golf: You decide what the two of you do on the next date.

If she wins the game of golf: She decides what the two of you do on the next date.



This way, you're getting a 2nd date. More than likely, she'll let you choose what you do on the 2nd date whether you beat her or not. The point of the bet is to know from the beginning of the night, you're getting a 2nd date. Takes the pressure off you for the night. You don't have to really work to get that next date, you just gotta not **** it up.



Oh, and do NOT go into this date wanting her to be your girlfriend. Go on a few dates before thinking about that. This girl might turn out to be someone you don't like. Or you might be too aggressive and come on too strong in the first couple of dates.

As far as actual dates where I wasn't already in a relationship with the girl, this is only my second date. I know, pretty lame. The other date didn't result in a second, mainly because I've always been the rally polite shy guy who's never been good with the ladies. So we'll see how this goes. I like the idea of winner picks the second date.

Be you and just treat her right. Don't rush anything because she is going to DC best case scenario is that y'all text or talk while she is in DC which would hopefully lead to whatever you'd like when she gets back. But good luck with everything.
