Heavy Bag training and hand wraps

I have a question for guys out there that are boxers or workout using boxing elements. I'm starting to workout using a heavy bag, I bought a heavy bag and got 14 ounce gloves and hand wraps. Well I wrapped my hands the other day and tried to get gloves on and couldn't it was too bulky. What could I do?

I looked up to make sure what gloves were good for heavy bag training and got mexican hand wraps with thumb hooks. I think if I can get the gloves on over time they would fit.

    Any suggestions?

Thanks Fat man trying to lose weight.

How are you wrapping them? Don't go too heavy over the fists. If you need to take some slack off, wrap more around the wrists so you can fit your hands in.
