I have no plans at the moment. Im single with no kids and its hard to get some friends together to do stuff anymore. Most of them are married an have kids too.

There were talks of going to Charlotte, NC in June for the Sprint Cup All-Star race, but thats it as of now.

Ummm...the All-Star Race is this weekend and the Coca-Cola 600 is next, so if you are coming to Charlotte, you better hurry it up.

Going to Boise, ID for 10 days at the end of June to visit my pops.


Anyone have any suggestions of what to do?

If there's still a Geno's Italian restaurant, hit it up. Also, despite the name, Pizz-al-Chik (or something like that) is worth the trip to the burbs.

We loved Boise the two years we were there. They had "one of everything" and enough local stuff that it would have been a great place to raise our son. Sadly, my wife's company moved us on.

Yeah, it was just the Nationwide and the Sprint cup race that we were going to. Thought it was in late June. Guess i'll have to figure out how to spend this vaction time i have sometime before football season starts.

my wife and kids , her parents and my grandmom going to Sea Isle City, NJ. Picking up my grandmon in Philly then off to Jersey that's in the beginning of July. Then for my wife and I 10 year anniversary we are going to Jamica. Good fun this summer.

Going to Montana of all places at the end of July. A Buddy of mine from college has a family ranch out there. Should be a nice change of pace from the city.

I might take a weekend to go visit my fiance when she's studying at Harvard. Other than that, I'm not going anywhere. I don't have enough money saved up for one this year. I might end up taking a week where I just stay in town and relax.

This has changed. I'm not going to see the fiance in Harvard, instead, when she comes back, we're going to take a week to see family in North Carolina.

Here's a handy tip, do the rest of the park at opening/early while everyone rushes to Harry Potter. You can go on the Hulk Coaster, Spider-man, etc. a few times over, and then around mid-day tackle Harry Potter. The line for the big ride was around 30mins at that point (as opposed to 90+) and you can actually walk down the street and through the shops. You'll still have a long wait for Ollivander's, though.

Me and my gf are going to take 4 days, 3 nights either at the beach or in the mountains late July.

Then going with my mom and brother to a big family reunion trip up to NY and Canada til the first of August.

I'm taking the Wife and Kids on two Vacations this summer.

Jun 11-17 will be in Santa Cruz Ca
A friend of ours has a rental house there we're getting for dirt cheap.

Then at the end of the summer we're going to Washington for 2 weeks. My wifes best friend is getting married in Bellingham so while we're there we're hitting up Seattle and the surrounding area.

I guess you guys are hitting Universal and Islands of Adventures when you go to Disney, right?

My 7 year old son and I rode The Wizarding World of Harry Potter over and over during our stay in Orlando last year. The height requirement is 48'' but they let him on. Meanwhile he got turned away from The Mummy. Go figure!

Good advice but what I found better was doing everything you want during the day. Go relax by the pool or chill in your room (if you're staying on site). Eat dinner then head back from about 6 to close and stay the entire time in Hogwarts. At night we were almost walking right onto the Harry Potter ride.

Don't even get me started about the wait for Ollivander's.

But my son and daughter really enjoyed it once we got into the shop. Out of everything they got during our vacation last year, they treasured their wands the most I believe.
