ticket selling websites

Are there any other good ticket selling/buying sites out there other than stubhub? I have some tickets for an event I may not be able to attend or use all the tickets I have. I have used StubHub before, but man, they take a HUGE percentage.

For a $360 ticket they take a 15%($54) commission from the sellers profits. On top of that, the buy has to pay a $37 service fee(over 10%). On top of that, there is a fee for shipping or instant download that the buyer has to pay. So StubHub is taking $100. They make it impossible to just sell a ticket at face value and have someone not get screwed.

Wow it sounds like StubHub is GREAT for the buyer, but not so much the seller. Sorry, I don't have an answer, I'm just shocked they take so much.

It really isn't for them either. First they are likely getting ripped off and paying more then face value, then for these tickets, they are having to pay a $40 service fee.

Well I use it for Royals tickets and I've saved over $300 in the 5 games I've gone to this year. I bought three tickets that were $27 a piece face value, for $32 total after fees and downloading. It may not be great for everyone, but I love it. I also got some seats in the outfield that were $22 a piece or something for $5 a piece and a $5 extra fee. Same with the upper deck. I bought tickets for like $3 just the other day, the night the Royals lost 19-1 against the Indians. Maybe it's not that way for everyone but I use it almost every time I go out to the ballpark.

Good point. I actually looked at at some Rangers tickets and you can get seats for $1 on the second level down the baseline lol

It just sucks because you see seats for 3 bucks and then its 10 bucks in charges. It comes out to 13, which obviously isn't too big a deal either considering it's more expensive through the main box office, but 10 bucks more for service + an electronic download is pretty absurd.

I haven't sold any, but I bought tickets from ticketsnow and I was able to find some 10-15% off codes online. Stubhub doesn't have any codes usually. Buying from ticketsnow I was able to basically get the service fees taken off.
