    Fathers Day 2011

So, I'd like some ideas. What are you getting your pops for Fathers Day?

Trying to find some new cool tool he'll like. Anyone have any ideas of new tools to play with?

Was thinking of getting him that auto-hammer from Craftsman, but not sure how well it works.

I'd like to give him a swift kick to the groin and then ask for 18 years of child support, plus interest. (srs)

Those auto-hammers don't work exactly as they are advertised. Small nails work fine, but any bigger sized nail will never work right.

I combine my Father's Day gift with his Birthday gift, because his Birthday is the 27th. My dad has almost every tool you can think of, so he's hard to buy for. I thought about buying him some stuff for his RC cars or I might buy him a bad *** shop vac.

This is the third straight year he will be out of town for Father's day. They always go on vacation around this time.

I hate trying to think of **** to buy my dad for Father's Day. Hopefully this year will be made easy if I can get him a Bruins Stanley Cup t-shirt and maybe a framed picture or plaque if I can find one this soon after the series.

My dad is a Jehovah's witness, so he doesnt celebrate any holidays. I'll still give the old man a call though.

I got my Dad a card. His real present is when my parents come up here in a week. I haven't seen them in a year.

I'm estranged from my father, he's a narcissistic, judgmental, heartless, religious zealot, so he will get what he deserves from me: jack squat.

Just had a great present from my son. I watched him play kid pitch baseball and go 3-4 with two steals. Its special to me because he's playing up and he's been strugglin with the kid pitch and myself and his grandpap been working with him. Watch him finally hit was tear jerking for me. Love my kids.

I didn't see my dad for five years, from 13-18. I have the worst stepmom, and for years I blamed him. Now that I've gotten older, I realize just how bad he had it. We (his kids) got the last laugh. The house she lives in, that she remodeled w/o our permission (increasing the value) is 5/6th the property of his kids. He had no kids with her.

Were he alive he'd get to see his newest grandchild and daughter in law. He couldn't make my wedding, again because of my stepmom spending all their money, so he'd meet my wife as well. He died 3 months after I got married.

FYI, had he married my stepmom she'd have cleaned him out, that's why he stayed. To her credit, the only concession I'll give her, he quit drinking and smoking when he married her, saving his life. He was wild when they met.

My dad is a huge John Wayne fan so I found a bunch of his movies on Blu-Ray and the recent True Grit movie. It's hard to buy for a 70+ year old man who has everything.
