Wow... 8 years. This place became like a home for me, allowing me to vent, share thoughts and opinions, even life altering events, like the birth of my son, the loss of my father, moving to a different state. Never thought I'd spend 10,000 posts worth of time at one site, but it's been well worth it.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I lost my Dad this past February. He was sick for a while but, you are never fully ready for it. My Mom is still having a hard time. Trying to help her as much as humanly possible.

Thanks man. I remember posting that back in 2003 when he passed away, and coming back to the forums a week later and being overwhelmed by the love and support that I was shown. I wish I could find that thread and read back through it. It was something to treasure.

LOL; they (my wife's brother and his wife) were here for my son's fifth grade graduation a couple weeks ago... AWK-WARD. I tried to hang out with him, but it just felt weird. He was trying to explain how he's staying with her, but I just couldn't co-sign it.
