    Marcus Easley "E.A.S.Y" Football Camp

So i just got back from "EASY" camp. Marcus Easley the Bill's wide receiver was running a football camp at our old high school in Stratford Connecticut, for ages 5-15. It was pretty neat to see him give back to the community.

I grew up with the guy, we were in the same 6th grade class and went to middle school and high school together. Didn't talk to him much but we were acquainted. Now to see him in the NFL is sort of crazy. He got a scholarship to Uconn on his grades and became a walk on who got drafted in the 3rd round to the Bills. Sadly he got injured before the season started last year but he's rehab-ed and is ready for the season this year, whenever that starts.

It was also cool because he brought one of the Bill's receivers, the other two he wanted to bring didn't make it because their flight got delayed. Marcus Harrison who also went to the same high school was there too. He plays at Rutgers and will be entering his Junior year is projected to go somewhere between the 2-3 round, if he remains consist. Really cool to see some talent sprout from this small town.

The event today took around 4 hours or so, started at 10am and finished at 1pm. He's going to try to do it every year. I took some pictures and will upload them when i get the chance (and if i remember my photobucket account).
