    What are these houses called?

    Anyone know what these are actually called?..."one of those awesome Caribbean houses that are held up by wood stumps over the clear water next to the beach"...I need the actual name of it.

    I took a screen of one from Fallout (of course a real one would be made of wood and not junk yard scrap metal):

      Bungalo? That's my guess.

      Edit: I think they're just called beach houses.

          You're right the first time, overwater bungalow or raised bungalow (when its over land I believe)

                  Well then. Surprised myself on that one. I googled bungalows but nothing I saw looked like the OP pic.

                      Overwater bungalow brings it up.
                      Couldn't find one to buy though. They're all parts of resorts/places to stay on vacation. Found a resort to invest in,timeshare and even a whole island but couldn't find just one of those.

                          I've played fallout 3 and New Vegas a ton, but I've never seen that location. Where exactly is that?

                              You want to buy one or just the building? Not many people are going to own them as most people aren't going to want have that as a house. They are all located in resorts or time shares.

                                  Yup as I found out. Though logic prevailed in the end because..."its gonna suck though if there is a storm, I would not wana be in there during a storm i would rather just go there on vacation" so it's sorted anyway.
