In hockey there was a guy in this years draft who was born on that very date.
A crazy story for his parents since he was born 3 months prematurely, almost didnt make it, and his parents had no idea what had happened in the outside world until the next day.
On a diff note, the moment on Big Brother 2 is one of the realest moments ever on any reality show. Locked in a house, cutoff from the outside world, nobody in that house knew what even happened when most of the world not only knew about it but probably have seen a TV at some point that day. It wasnt until later that they were told what happened, and one person's cousin was missing(and didnt make it).
It always puts in to perspective how different everyone's experience from this is. A single horrific moment can have so many different "where were you when" moments. You can both relate to and sympathize with others who had the "where were you when" moment.
