Here's what I did today to honor those who gave their lives that day 10 years ago:

I'm from NY and work for one of the main sponsors, and the owner (and my friend) is from Queens. We had over 2,000 people attend and raised over $50,000. It felt good to give back, even if it was just a little, to those that gave everything.

It was really neat doing the climb and just talking with different firefighters and other servicemen, along the way. I also met a couple of Mets fans that were out visiting from NY; that was really cool.

Is the guy throwing the pizza on the linked page the guy you're talking about?
(don't recognize him....I grew up in Queens and lived there until last year....big place though)

          Knight,
Yes, I do work at the Garlic Knot; just a part-time gig a couple of nights a week to make some extra money. The guy on the website is one of the assistant managers, not the owner.

And you are more than welcome, Knight. You, my dad, my sister and everyone else that serves our country was in my thoughts today. It's the least I could do.
