Means you're not uptight and you don't let little things bother you. It's a good thing.

This. I've been described as "chill" before. I've never thought of it as a bad thing, and no one's really used it as an insult. If anything, people seem to like me more because of it.

Depends on the situation. If you're at work i probably wouldn't want to be labeled as laid back or chill. Again, depends on your job. Other than that it's a good thing. We as a whole country are the total opposite.

Yeah its a good thing. I tend to hang out with the the laid back friends and people. Most of the time its laughs and a good time very easy to relax with.

What I find as a negative from my experience is that my friends that are really laid back tend to be pretty passive and try to avoid conflict as much as possible.

Sometimes you need that person/friend to tell you how it is, kick your *** into gear rather than be like everything is always ok all the time. Also my friends that are more high strung we tend to get into more conflicts but they know how to get the party started.

Laid back and chill describes me to a "T". It never presented itself as a problem other than when folks would assume that being that way also meant that you were a pushover or weak willed. Growing up, this was tested way more than as an adult, as you usually had to lay hands to someone to get them to understand that you weren't to be trifled with. After the subsequent beating, then understanding usually followed, especially if the beating was severe enough. You can get tested at work, too, but usually a rapid change in demeanor is enough to shock people back to reality and let them know that while you are cool and easy going, fooling with you recklessly is NOT going to end up being a good look.

Overall, people generally like being around us because, honestly, nobody likes being around negative energy all the time.

I'm also described as laid-back, chill. Of course, I'm also kinda short and skinny so people thought I was a pushover. Changed that perception with one fight. Dude never laid a finger on me. I got respect, but I never bragged about it, and eventually me and the dude became friends.

Honestly...usually the laid back ones (like me) are able to take jokes (and dish them out) so dudes (and chicks) like to hang out with them more. You'd be surprised just how much fun one can have when everyone you're with can take a joke/good-natured ribbing.

It's a good thing. People tell me I am laid back all the time. I never get angry and like to joke and laugh all the time. People say they like to hang out with me more than others because of me being so laid back. But I do tell people how it is still. I'm not going to say everything is okay like someone was saying in another post.

I guess you could be too laid back, but I am laid back as well.

It's a gift and a curse honestly. On one hand people enjoy your company because its easy to speak to you but on the other hand folks will try to walk all over you due to you being apathetic towards everything.

Some people will think I'm nuts for saying this, but I'm super laid back.

Might be the most laid back pain in the *** in existence.

Bull****. I call your bluff there.

I am pretty laid back, the only times I am uptight are when I am driving and watching sports.

Other than that, I'm as cool as the other side of the pillow.
