I need to get back into gear (post op knee surgery)

Here's the skinny. I tore my ACL last August, surgery in November - it's been almost a year and I've yet to return to the playing field (soccer).

I have no insurance, I was recently unemployed and benefits start up after 3 months for the new job (started as of monday last week).

Are there any home guides or products that anyone has tried and had success with? I want to get back on the field so bad it hurts.

Would love to hear thoughts/feedback. Thanks.

Did you get any post op rehab, will you have to wear a knee brace during exercise? I got rehabbed and have to wear a knee brace for any type of activity except golf. It took me a little over a year after my surgery before I was able to get back snowboarding again. You really just have to start exercising it slowly and work the knee back into shape like it was before the injury. If you're starting out from scratch on your own I'd say look up online ways to home/self rehab.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!
