    Dog Had Fleas (Concerned)

First, my dog no longer has the fleas. I took him to the vet and they gave him capstar at first and on the second day gave him the Comfortis flea pills. They said he's flea free.

The problem I'm running into is they got into my house and 1 of my four boys (and I) have been getting bit. While my dog was at the vet I had an exterminator come. They said it would take 1 to 2 weeks to see them gone and call them back if they are still there.

I've never really seen many at a time, in fact maybe 20 all together, but it really bothers me. Just wondering if anyone has ever dealt with this issue and how it worked out.

    Thanks

You could do a little additional bombing/fogging of your own if you're still concerned about it.

Yeah those Raid flea bombs work pretty good. Just take your kids and your dogs to a park for a few hours and set off the bombs when you leave. You'll be itching from paranoia for a while, but it'll be alright

        Warning!

If those flea bombs are anything like the roach bombs....make sure you shut the gas off to your stove(and hot water heater if you're doing it in the basement as well) if they use a flame/pilot light.
I can't tell you how many house fires I've gone to because someone did one of those bombs in their kitchen and didn't shut off the stove(the pilot light ignites the vapor of the bomb) and boom goes the dynamite!
Just remember to re-light the pilots once you turn the appliances back on.
The directions will tell you if this is necessary I'm sure.

Good to know. I've never had a house with gas so I didn't know about that.
