Hmmm I've never really went after a girl who I didnt already know, kinda interesting reading through this thread. The girls who i've dated or "been with" have always been friends first.

Same, although I've broken the ice with said friends by being ridiculous. I can't embed because it's disabled on this video, but personally, I've always been a fan of some tactics used by one of my role models growing up. I particularly like the his efforts around 2:46 and 3:38.

I've never really had to try to pick up girls before (honestly, just not the hook up type, and I generally become friends with them before I start to notice how attractive they), but I'm pretty confident that I could make it happen if need be lol.

It's pretty simple for me.

If I like a girl, I walk up and say hi. Conversation initiated.

After a chat, if I'm feeling good about it, I continue later on.

If not, I move on. Simple.

Not that I need to anymore. Being engaged and all.

but I never had any sort of game...I'd start talking to someone and if we clicked the conversation was easy.

This pretty much sums up my style. Over the past ten years (post-high school) I've developed a really quick, sarcastic sense of humor. I just go with that. I have no game whatsoever, so I just talk to them and see if anything clicks. Not that they have to match me on sarcasm, but some kind of sense of humor is appreciated. From there - what happens, happens.

Lol I've read some good approaches on here but this is the one a friend of mine does. We all know that some pretty girls probably have heard every compliment in the book so when they walk pass and you say a compliment sometimes they don't even acknowledge you.
So what he does is if a pretty girl walks pass he shouts "Hey, You Demon" because he knows her first response is gonna be "who are you talking to?" and his reply is "I meant you, I know you hear so many compliments from men about how beautiful you are that I had to find a way to get your attention." and if she smiles then we know he got her hook, line and sinker LOL

Same approach here, but also engaged so no longer needed lol.

Picking up or hitting on women is nothing truly to it. Just walk up and don't waste their time. Beating around the bush and looking all nervous is a quick buzz kill and likely will end in failure. Confident strong man, going for what he wants comes off way more desirable to a women. So just walk up introduce yourself and say "I wanted to come over and meet you, because I thought you were cute or attractive". Maintain strong eye contact and hold yourself with confidence. You might strikeout 10 times but success is just a girl away. Just always remember being shot down = not getting girl BUT doing nothing = not getting girl also. So instead of being scared just go for it, worst that can honestly happen is she says no and you are in same boat.

Me and my buddies use to run pick up games on women in different locations to practice. We all got pretty good at it through out the years. It is not science, it is just confidence. Granted I have not done this in over 6 years. I still use similar techniques on a daily bases with outside sales. Talking to a women you are not attracted to is not much different than talking to one you are.
