Yeah I worked hard to get that line in so I had to have the first ice and water.

I hope you threw out the first batch or 2 of ice from the new fridge. You are also supposed to do it with the first glass or 2 of water. The filter needs to be cleaned out.

If not I guess you're still alive right now, so not too much harm done.

Oh yeah lol Good idea to dump the first batch or two of ice (according to the installers of my fridge). Same principle, basically gets any ick out of the water lines to everything so it's fresh from then on.

Things will only get better as well...At some point the inventory of houses improves so that prices slowly go back up. That's what it's at in Phoenix. Lots of investors bought up the prior foreclosures and whatnot, so you're not finding all the awesome houses for cheap like you could 2-3 years ago.

I hope so Blue! Going to continue to do improvements on the house, just would like to settle in around the 175,000 mark when we do decide to sell.

Man i put so many holes in the wall trying to install some blinds

had a thin metal plate behind the wall I couldnt see directly over the window pane... that kind of stuff sucks... Once I figure it out all I had to do was get the brackets in the wall up a little higher

Wish I could hit replay on that one though

My old agent texts my wife and I like

"are you guys still interested in looking for a house"

No hello, no whats up, nothing

I think she texted us out of the blue a few weeks ago like "hey I miss yall, keep in touch"... kinda weird

I didn't respond and kinda dont even want to tell her we got a home already with sosmeone else. For all I know she could know already but who knows.


Would you answer or not say anything? Just curious since its such an odd situation

Didnt even get an answer. Turned into such a weird deal with her man, no wonder I never got a house with her.

My wife and I made a big decision by deciding to sell our house which we bought two years ago. As it turns out, our house has a lot of equity. Anyway, we figured we needed to downsize to pay off debt, she can go to school full time and prepare for the near future as the city continues to take more money out of my paychecks, which is a another story.

We have a condo nearby we rent out but it is way too small for a family of three.

I just hope we are making the right decision by downsizing.

That's a smart decision, but a very tough one I'm sure. Thank goodness you have a ton of equity to play with and you're not losing by selling. If you can get into a comparable home that suits your family for less, why not go for it?

Moving on Saturday...Getting cable/internet and the washer fixed on Sat too, my fiancee is dealing with that while her brother and I move our 6 big items in a Uhaul. Almost have everything else out, just a lot of little stuff that'll go in boxes today or tomorrow.

I do have to box up all my game systems though, so that'll be a bit of a pain tonight or tomorrow.

Going to be soooooo glad to be done with this move! Then I can play Madden which shipped yesterday to the new house (Amazon deal, got it for 40 bucks!)
