Please pass that guy's info along when you have a moment (via PM if you prefer).

Sorry to hear about that unfortunate refrigerator accident. The joys and lows of reno can be emotionally draining!

I'm a reasonable guy, but given the fact he's moving in town and we are coming from 2 states away, I denied that request. Right move?

Looking forward to owning a home again after renting for a few years. I'll share some pics after we've moved in.
I think that's a bit harsh. Moving out is always harder than moving in.

      But congrats.

I prefer Gilbert or Chandler but there's nice parts Mesa and those towns are next to Mesa. It does get kinda questionable in some parts though but I'm sure you'll figure it out.

If you go out to watch a Dbacks or Suns game, ask where Carolina's is at. The best tortillas in town.

Yeah, we like Gilbert or some areas of Chandler better, but there's really nice areas in Mesa too, just some are older and run down....

We (well, my wife) looked in all three areas. Liked them all, and certainly my wife saw some parts of Mesa that were far from ideal. But, we wound up in a really nice neighborhood there, so I'm happy.

Looking forward to desert life. It's snowing in CO today.

We have to move out of our place to move in to the new one, which is 2 states over. The issue has been resolved, though, so no worries.

Summer is going to suck so i recommend heading out to places like Flagstaff and Sedona during the summer months. Weather is great and its beautiful. Just get through the summer and you'll be awarded with an amazing fall/winter/spring.

I also recommend getting an auto starter for your car so it'll be nice a cold by the time you get into your car.

Very simple. Watch a quick YouTube video, you should be done in a half hour or less.

Man I guess all of those sites are lying about taking 4-6 hours labor.

Forget that man, im not trying to overpay for a light bulb with a fan on it

I'm assuming you already have a light where it's going? Or installing a new light/fan period? If you don't already have the wiring, etc, it'll take a bit, but nowhere near 4-6 hours. I ran new wire, etc and it didn't take much more than an hour. 4-6 is just crazy.

Yeah replacing the lights already up for the most part. Im wary of fooling with electricity because it's dangerous.

Just turn the switch off and you'll be fine. make sure the box in the ceiling is metal and mounted well. 1-2 hours and you'll be done.
