      I don't understand what you're saying. The optic nerves and retinas develop from outpocketing of the forebrain after it has divided into right and left hemispheres. Cyclopia occurs when this division into right and left fails to occur and thus a single eye developes as a midline structure. The appearance can actually range from from a single large eye (in this case) to 2 separate but very small and very closely spaced eyes within a single orbital cavity.
