    Buying games from RedBox?

Anyone bought any games from redbox? I see if you keep it 30 days it becomes yours for 60 bucks. Thats 2 dollars a day that they charged. So say if a new games come out this tuesday. You don't have the money for it right now but will later on. You can rent it from redbox and pay 2 dollars the 1st day. Then on the 30 day you pay the 60. So your playing the game for free for 30 days other then the 2 bucks you was charge the 1st day.

Not bad really if someone wants the game now but don't have the money yet but will withthin the 30 days.

I did that with Dead Island. Just don't forget about the charge coming out after 30 days.

With all of the developers starting to charge additonal money to non-new games. I don't think many people will do that.

Add in the fact that you don't get the game box/box art too. It's nice to have another option too. I hate waiting until I have the cash for certain games.

Sounds good in theory, if you're really that hard up to play the game RIGHT NOW and you can't wait a little bit longer till you have the cash and can buy it straight up.

So your playing the game for free for 30 days other then the 2 bucks you was charge the 1st day.
You're not playing the game for free. You're paying $2 a day to play it. At the end of 30 days you're paying retail price minus everything you would have recieved from buying it new.

Was wondering how he came up with that. Not to mention, 30 days later you'd be able to find it for less than 60 bucks anyway.

Well i know they charge you 2 dollars a day thats how they come up with the 60 for 30 days. But say you gonna have the money for a game on the 30th of the month and the game came out on the 1st. So you can wait till the 30th and buy the game but you missed a month of play. Or say you rent the game on the 1st play the whole month and buy on the 30th from redbox. You got a month more out of it.

Thats how i could up with you play for a month free if someone was gonna do it like this. Does that make sense? ha

They don't charge your card after the first day until day 30. So it's $2 to get it out of the box, the rest of it on day 30.
