Hmm, you are correct. I thought I had read on numerous sites it was 26 and anything older, you would have to have a waiver on a "case by case" basis. I may reconsider as I did get an 85 and ASVAB and GT of 120 (need a 115 for Marines and 110 for Army). But man, I had no clue about the APFT as I was striving for a 270. I looked everywhere online and couldn't find specific answers. I started working out hardcore about 2 months ago and here are my current stats:
2 mile: 13:55
Situps: 68 in 2 minutes
Pushups: 50 in 2 minutes
Its just stressful because im a perfectionist. But weird thing is that I went to subway yesterday and some random guy came up to me and told me that "I needed to relax" because he noticed i was full of stress and read my facial expression. Of course I thanked him, but realized that damn all I can do is give my best and thats all. I mean, I have just under 2 weeks and I can only improve so much.
I am gonna PM you man. It helps that you are a recruitor since you know the ins and outs first hand. You know things that i cant really find on the internet. Thanks man
