I came to OS in the summer of 2002 looking for info on NCAA 2003. I decided to join the forums because I’m a GameCube loser and I’m too lazy to do rosters myself. I could claim to be too busy, but we all know it’s not true…but I digress.
Once I got here, I found myself hooked by the intelligent discussions and constructive criticism and analysis given by the fans who never ever resort to ad hominem arguments and unsubstantiated critiques. I left for a brief time in 2002-2003 (known as “the entirety of my freshman year of college”) and kind of forgot about the site.
When I returned to find NCAA 2004 info, I decided to stick around and just talk my way through stuff while I was bored at work. I actually found some users of various levels of intelligence who could actually satiate my need for intelligent sports conversation when I was too lazy to walk the two flights of stairs to my father’s office. Now, come to the site when my friends at school who inexplicably have girlfriends and social lives beyond mine are partaking in those, and I have nothing else to do.

I see a lot of potential in Steve. He reminds me a bit of a young me, if you must know the truth. From the casual yet elegant way in which he presents himself, with his ironed t-shirts, screams “This guy is going to take over the world.” He looks like your best friend, or the smart kid you cheated off of in trig class, but also like he would crush you like a bug if you disagreed with his Communist regime. He has a bright future ahead of him, like a young Scott Baio or Joe Piscopo.

What are your hobbies?
I'm a huge sports fan. If it involves a ball or a puck of some kind, I'll probably watch it and play it. And then I'll bitch that my knees hurt.
I’m a meteorology major at school because weather has just always intrigued me.
Besides that, I’m your typical 19 year old college student. I like video games, movies, and lusting over girls that I know I have no shot at (I am referring specifically to the food court girl, which can be asked about with a possible explanation forthcoming).
Tell us about about your family?
I have an older sister (23) who has moved out and when I’m not at school, I live with both of my parents. My older sister and I get along a lot better than we did when she was at home, because we’ve both grown up a lot.
My dad is like my best friend. He’s a crazy guy from the Bronx and he’s just as funny and sometimes as immature as me and my friends. And he probably curses more too. No, wait, he DEFINITELY does. He’s awesome. I can’t tell you about his job because then I’d have to kill you.
My mom is just the world’s best mom. She can be a little overbearing sometimes but I know it’s all love. She bakes and sends me care packages at school and she’ll cook whatever I want when I come home because she knows I’m fighting off dining hall food the rest of the time. She’ll even send stuff to my best friend at school because she knows we’re like brothers. Overall, my mom is just the sweetest woman alive.
I also have a dog, Rusty, who’s 13. He’s my little brother, or as close to one as I’ll have. He’s the best dog we could have ever gotten, and we spoil him rotten. Also, he served as an alarm clock for me every day when I was at school, because my mom would tell him to go wake me up and he’d come flying into my room and jump on my head before I could move. It was outstanding and I wish he was around to do that here.
