What are you thankful for this year?

With this being the week of Thanksgiving, this is the perfect time to reflect on what one is thankful for. A lot of times we get caught up in life and the ups and downs that it brings, and we sometimes forget what's really important in life.

This has been an awesome year for me, but I will keep my list short and simple. I am:

    1) Thankful for my wife (as of Feb. 2011)
    2) Thankful for my life (you never know when your number will be called)
    3) Thankful for my family and friends.
    4) Thankful that my wife and I have employment (keep those who may not be as fortunate in your thoughts and prayers this holiday season).

    5) Last, but not least, I am thankful for The Operation Sports.

I have many more, but I will turn it over to you guys. Peace.

My family, having food on my table and a roof over my head, and living in America.

Many others, but those are probably the most important to me.

I'm thankful for my job, friends, and family.

It's the first Thanksgiving spent without my grandfather and now, more than ever, I'm thankful for the family that I still have and I'm sticking close to them.

Thankful for my family no doubt, can't thank them enough especially my mom.

Thankful for my friends, hopefully my best friend will make it home soon from his deployment safe and sound.

Thankful just to be alive and happy, there was a time a few years ago I was so down and depressed I didn't think I'd let myself live another year but now I'm 19 loving life and happier than ever. And I already said it but my mother did so much for me in this time, even something she doesn't know she did, but she saved me. I thank her everyday by trying to be the best son I can be, helping out any way I can. No way I can ever repay what she's done for me, but I can try.

Really everything. Just glad to be here.

I'm thankful for my family, especially my mom because I lost my dad at a young age and she's worked herself to the bone to take care of us ever since. I'm thankful to have a roof over my head, food on the table, friends and to be alive. I'm thankful to be happy with where I'm at in life, and with who I am. Life's too short to take anything for granted.

Very thankful for my families health and well being.

We're not a wealthy family by any stretch, but we're not going without either. So very thankful for what we do have. Nice places to call home, and plenty to eat.

My family has never known hunger...and for that, I thank our Lord each and everyday.

              Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I'm thankful that I live 929 miles away from my family! So glad I don't have to spend the holidays with those political and religious wackos.

On a more serious note, I'm thankful for my wife and son. We're coming up on our ten year anniversary and my son just turned eight and I can't imagine my life without the two of them. I love where we are and am excited to see where we go together.

I'm thankful for my family. I'm thankful that my girlfriend has had basically another problem free pregnancy thus far. I'm thankful that my son has learned to use the potty after just turning two and for all his other amazing accomplishments. I'm thankful that I have a roof over our heads. I'm thankful I have food to eat. I'm thankful that my girlfriend has a good paying job and that I'm going to school for free. I'm thankful that I will continue to earn my unemployment throughout my school years.

Life is pretty good for us right now. I guess that makes me the 1%.

I am most thankful this year of my wife and her strength and confidence in me. I have kept quiet about this but over the past couple of years I have been struggling with a prescription drug addiction, behind the back of my family. I come to my wife with this and she has been strong for me and helping me get through it. She has also helped me in the reaffirmation of my faith and gotten me back on the right track. She has been everything solid and dependable for me. While also being the stronghold in my family she also finished college with a gpa of 3.97 while working full time, and has now started on her masters. She is by far the best person I know, and I would be lost without her.
