 Re: Off Topic 2012

Just do he--I mean it.Just wondering but what are your guys' policies on dating within the workplace?

Every job I've held that had both Males/Females it's always been an unwritten rule... you Never go out with a fellow co-worker. You just didn't do it, too much risk, if you break up the awkwardness would be there at work.. Everyone pretty much agrees by this unsaid rule and while the men and women have casual, friendly conversation it stays strictly business.

buuuut recently my job starting hiring a lot of attractive females, and there's this one in particular that I've met a few times she really seems like a great person all around, really attractive but friendly and easy to talk to. I want to get to know her outside of work. I just don't know how to go about this.. I usually start out saying Hi to her, we talk about work related stuff, and the conversation shifts into small talk and our daily lives but then it just ends and we mutually agree we need to get back to work.

Just not really sure how I should go about this, should I make a move? Or do I follow the office rules, and not overplay my hand; kind of let this play out a little more? I'm not sure if she has a boyfriend or anything but I'm pretty sure she's single, I just have a feeling from our talks.

Besides, it's not like you could end up going out with the girl for a year and a half, then have her break up with you over pancakes, lead you on to thinking there's a possibility you could get back together, and then finally proceed to invite you to a party where you think you're about to hook back up, only for her to reveal she's getting married instead, right? Right?

Something that gave me a chuckle driving this morning on KROQ...

"Brandy says she misses Kim Kardashian's friendship, blah blah blah"

One of the guys was saying "Yea, they used to be tight"

 The other responds...

Got my first college on-campus class tonight at 6 (two online classes started on Monday). Making the trek after a shower to grab the required textbooks. I probably shouldn't have waited to get them but whatever. I'm hoping I don't have to travel downstate to get one of the texts. That class is online but offered through a campus from slower lower. I'm pretty broke so if I do have to make the 45 minute drive there (and then back), peace out remaining funds for gas.

Gotta keep reminding myself education is the key to my goals & dreams of a good life. Motivation isn't actually that hard to find when put that way.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
 NFL - Buffalo Bills
 MLB - Cincinnati Reds

I love Melt Bar and Grill.

 I had this sandwich yesterday.

Note: That isn't MY picture nor exactly what mine looked like.

It's call the Hungry Hungarian. It's Chicken Paprikash sauce, Roasted Chicken, and dumplings with Provolone on some awesome bread with great fries and a fresh coleslaw.

It's incredible. I love melt.Too Old To Game Club

I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

That pic wasn't his, and under those two pickles there is something that isn't fries, it cold be slaw.

For the record slaw is nasty and I will refuse to even try it again until they stop making the damned stuff sweet, give me a spicy or at least a tangy slaw.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life.
