I didn't post statuses before nor now, why would I post meaningless stuff to people who wouldn't care at all about what I'm doing/feeling? I just use facebook because I'm in two groups (one for study and other with people I play basketball with), besides that I don't use facebook at all.

I forgot to mention yesterday about my follow up eye exam. Went great, doc said the "swollen optic nerves" was actually just pseudo papilledema, which is harmless. Idunno if he was just making that up to cover his previous assessment before knowing I didn't have insurance or what, but it's good news anyway

Are you a beer drinker? If so, next time you see an attractive girl buying beer at the grocery store, walk up to her and give her a beer suggestion then go from there. Be casual but be confident. Get her number after talking to her about your suggestion then peace out. Call her the next day and see whatsup.

It's all about the approach. If you don't approach a girl like a creeper or a virgin(no offense if you are) then you'll get the date more times than not. Getting a date isn't hard. Figuring out what they're thinking and what they're pissed about 3 months into the relationship is hard.

I drink only sparingly, and since I started working out I've actually cut the alcohol out altogether, just too many negative cals.. but that definitely seems like a good idea.

No offense taken, I actually think I might be a bit too mature for my age group. The type of girls in my age group are 22-26... so they are just out of college age, and most are still in that party type mindset. So a nice, stable guy that seems like he has his priorities in order probably isn't in their wild, bad boy, frat girl fantasy image for them. I'm also Christian so that might turn them off.

I really think getting the girlfriend is all about opportunity and a little bit of luck.. You have to find yourself in the right situation, at the right moment, with the right person. Those things just haven't aligned for me yet... and some other guys probably have more opportunities based on their image, and what they do. It's not a big deal for me though when I get my chance I'll get my chance. Until then I'm going to keep working out, trying to improve my job situation, and just being the best person I can be.

This man speaks the truth (aside from the co-workers part, I don't believe in that line of thinking to an extent - I've never really worked in an office/business setting, just restaurants, and know more than a few not including myself at all that have worked out for the long term).

Chicks are a hassle, that's for sure. But definitely worth it once you get a good one. The games and **** leading up to that though are ****ing pointless and stupid.

Once you stop looking and stop thinking about every girl as a potential girlfriend, it does actually get easier. I was in that same position - just seemed like girls weren't looking for a guy like me - and a few weeks after I stopped caring I had two girls willing to do just about anything I wanted. One is now my girlfriend and I couldn't be much happier.

Keep your head up and don't let it stress you out. It'll happen when it happens. No sense forcing anything.

Yeah I'm just going to have to go back to that mindset.

I just get frustrated sometimes when I go out and I see guys that are out of shape, look like they don't really take care of themselves, and just plain act like jackholes... with the most stunningly gorgeous girls on their arms.

Meanwhile I'm working out like crazy, taking care of my hygiene, trying to make a living, being respectful to women. Basically all the things you would think a woman would dream for and yet I can't seem to attract any attention from women.
