I, for some reason, went on a string of watching US troop videos of them returning to surprise their families and found myself tearing up constantly. At some point it became a self imposed challenge to not cry. I lost many many times.

Holy massive rage pics!Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Of all the professions, after all, few people are less suited to be suddenly thrown into the public eye than chefs. We're used to doing what we do in private, behind closed doors.Comment

 Re: Off Topic 2012

I wanted to go on that show so bad. Most of the contestants were "not of high mental standing" in my opinion. I would have DOMINATED that game against the quality competition they threw out there. Of course I've heard that from everybody that used to watch it.Chicago Bears
 Oregon State Beavers
 Portland Trail Blazers
 San Francisco Giants
 Chicago Blackhawks
 MLS: Portland Timbers
 EPL: Liverpool FCComment

Always wanted to be on Double Dare or Family Double Dare as kid. I would have settled to be on any of the following as a consolation.

 Guts
 Legends of the Hidden Temple
Wild and Crazy Kids (One big *** field day)
Video Power (They would give away a Neo Geo to the winner.)

 Re: Off Topic 2012

I remember watching Where in the World is Carment Sandiego, specifically the final round where the contestants had to place markers on the correct country on one of the continents. I would've aced that every time.

Also, when I was in 7th grade I had this one class where we learned how to use BASIC interpreter and some other crude (by todays standards) graphics program (This was 93/94). We often had a lot of free time as it was the longest period of the day and everyone would always play "Where in the US is Carmen Sandiego". It was pretty much a contest to see who could get the highest rank.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

 Re: Off Topic 2012

It almost makes me a little sad inside reading about some of these college basketball player's verts for the NBA Combine. I don't even think I can hit 15", let alone 30-40".

I wonder what would happen if we had an OS Combine.....Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Been singing the chorus to "Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?" for the last 20 minutes since I watched that video Tim posted.

Damn the 90s was a GREAT time to grow up in, especially as far as TV Game Shows go.#RespectTheCultureComment

Just TV in general, honestly. Great cartoons, great shows, MTV (or MuchMusic for us Canadians) was actually worth watching.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.
