 Re: Off Topic 2012

Damn, its been a LONG time since I've had Captain Crunch. My goal in life is to have an entire kitchen shelf full of cereal ala Seinfeld. That **** is expensive, though.

Also, Corn Pops. Am I alone in this? Once I start I can't stop.

 Re: Off Topic 2012

They get soggy as soon as you take the milk out of the fridge, and also have kind of an odd aftertaste.

The only reason you like them is that they are sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. I prefer my cereals to have their flavor baked in.

Corn Pops are one of those cereals that I don't go out of my way to get but whenever I have them, I think, "man, I should eat this more often!".Ryan Spencer

 Re: Off Topic 2012

I like Captain Crunch, but it always cut up my mouth for some reason. I like Cinnamon Toast Crunch(probably only had 4-7 times in my life). I didnt like it as a child because my sister liked it.

The cereal that I like that I get when in season is Count Chocula. I was have to get it at least 1 time. I also love Rice Krispies(either C or K).Last edited by illwill10; 06-19-2012, 12:59 PM.Comment

And if you ever even start talking about union (Target does this too) they'll fire you. At least in Washington, which is an "at will" state meaning an employer can fire someone at any time.

I work for Fred Meyer (Kroeger) and we're unionized, and while it's sometimes a giant pain (the union has a tendencay to fight to get people that were fired their jobs back, even if they don't deserve it), overall it's nice. It makes hours harder to come by, but you can make enough money that you can live off of 25-30 hours.Comment

 Re: Off Topic 2012

Both my mother and my brother work at Wal-Mart (mid-level management) and during their bitching session my dad will usually give the ol, "that's why you need a union." A union might be good, but they have no power anymore and in this day and age they're painted as some type of evil, socialist movement and they're dying. Bill Maher (I know I know. He's close-minded as all the other ones) had a chart on the other week showing a direct correlation between the decline in middle class wages and the decline in labor union memberships. And if you ever even start talking about union (Target does this too) they'll fire you. I used to love them as a kid. I bought a box a couple weeks ago and it wasn't as sugary as I remember.Last edited by Fresh Tendrils; 06-19-2012, 01:33 PM.
