Which is exactly why I rarely see a movie in the theater. Went to see Moonrise Kingdom over the weekend at an art house. Which was cool because everyone was respectful. I just know seeing The Dark Knight Rises opening weekend is going to a ****ty experience.

 Re: Off Topic 2012

When my aunt filed my state taxes she forgot to apply me for tax forgiveness, which I qualified for because I only worked part time, so instead of getting the refund I was supposed to get (around $180), they kept all of it. I just had to go back and check "Yes" instead of "No".Comment

 Re: Off Topic 2012

I don't really mind going to a crowded theatre, it's just a matter of what kind of noise is being made. Can't stand something like a baby crying, etc.

Slight on topic, but when I went to the Avengers midnight there was 2 guys during the credits yelling at each other about how some girl was talking one of them up but he was scared to prove it or what not. Just flat out screaming, it was awkward cause they were just going at it and literally none nearby moved and the people farther away immediately left.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

 Hero = Sub

I really pissed right now, I can't find my Max Drive so I can play MVP NCAA Baseball 06 with the actual rosters. :

 Re: Off Topic 2012

Nah man completely different, but I guess you can consider them both sandwiches.

And I pronounce them G-eye-rohs. I can't imagine any other pronunciation. Gyros are hit or miss with me. One spot can have what in my mind I'm ready for and have loved in the past. Then I can go to another restaurant and order the same thing and get a completely different thing all together. Its so bad now I just avoid getting them.Last edited by kingkilla56; 06-25-2012, 04:18 PM.Comment

 Re: Off Topic 2012

I swear on everything I love...

Its not a sub, gyro, or a ******* hero!

 Its called a HOAGIE!!

I have no clue why that drives me crazy, especially when somebody calls it a sub. Its almost as worse when somebody says 'pop' when they are talking about soda. Or every type of soda is 'coke'. The most asinine thing I've ever heard went something like this:

Waitress: What would you like to drink?
 Friend: A coke
 Waitress: What kind?
 Fried: Pepsi

 Maybe its just me, lol#WashedGamerComment

 Re: Off Topic 2012

Ahh ok. Here a gyro is like a lambmeat sandwich or something. Never knew a sub could be called a hero though.

The three ways I've thought gyro was pronounced:

 "Jai roh"

 "Hee roh"

 "Euro"

Oh God the Hoagsters are here. I feel like there was a major sandwich nickname debacle in off topic last year as well. Im having flashbacks to Chicago Subs, NY Heros, and Swamp Hoagies (aka jersey and philly).

They also go by grinders and italians,Comment

So tired. Work's been... interesting so far. Went to lunch with a small group (seemed like a weekly thing) and had a great time. Some brewskis were had by others. I have a feeling I'll like this place.Rose City 'Til I Die
