What sort of issue tracking software does your new company use? Curious, if you're allowed to divulge that, that is.

The only thing I have any extensive experience in to that end is Redmine, which I found pretty useful personally.

Looking forward to working in this triple digit heat, today ..

On the bright side, this is one of the few times I've ever been able to say, "Thank god it's Friday"... and no, we're not getting down on Friday.

      That's Saturday and Sunday.

This was one of the great perks about being a cook in my 20's. The choice was always beer. I would just eat at work and or bring something home. My fridge consisted of many to-go boxes, beer, and maybe a jar of mayo.

Yeah, I'm not going to watch that. I watched oh boy land on his neck trying to do a backflip on a dirtbike -- in fact, that was the last time I watched the X-Games -- I hope I can wake up to a positive highlight.

Well, at this place and my previous, we've used JIRA. It's been pretty good. I mean, I get the process with it. It's not free, of course.

So ready to be off work. I have the cooler and my stuff for the weekend in the car. Stopping by the store to get a case of beer, half gallon of captain, case of cokes, and some water and ice... then I'm headed to the lake.

              Two
125 lbs hogs going in the ground today.. eating tomorrow evening.

Two day drunk, with good food and water. Also convinced the girl I'm talking up to come up with us..

I'm sure you guys are tired of hearing it from me, but I'm beyond excited just to get a weekend off.

Pretty sure this weekend will be some kind of weird hybrid of chill buzz, cleaning, video game sessions (definitely Lego Batman, possibly some Dragon's Dogma and Tomb Raider), True Blood, and Newsroom. Considering my weekends have been pretty much planned for the past 2 months I'm looking forward to taking it easy. I do wish I had some steaks to grill, but can't afford to eat like a King every weekend. I also apparently get to host my family next weekend which will be fun considering I only have 3 bar stools in my kitchen.

I did grill last night, which I usually don't do during the week. Grilled about 2 lbs of boneless chicken breast. 1lb I rubbed with Italian seasoning and olive oil. Cut it into strips and put it in a penne pasta dish with parm. cheese, mozzarella cubes, and parsley. Delicious. The other 1lb I put an easy BBQ sauce recipe on. Half of the BBQ went into the freezer for a later date. The other half barely made it to the fridge it was so delicious. Maybe its just me, but I've never had grilled chicken as moist as what I've grilled the past couple of times.

Nothing special planned for me this weekend. I'll have my daughter tonight and all day/night on Saturday. It's supposed to be in the mid 90's with high humidity, so we will most likely be spending all of our time inside.

Hope to an early showing of Ted on Sunday. Followed by laying by the pool and having a cookout. This has become the Sunday routine for my friends and me. Good people, good food, more than enough alcohol, just the perfect way to relax on a Sunday afternoon.

Typical Sunday night lounging on the couch, watching TV with the misses.

Yep, that's my favorite thing about summer. It keeps me away from bars and stuff, so I save a whole bunch of money too.

This will be a ****ty weekend to try to wakeboard. The heavy traffic comes out around the 4th.
