I left the lake about 8:30. On my drive home, I passed over the bridge/main body and it was packed out with cars, boats, and people. I looked off both ways and there were so many boats chilling out in the water, waiting on the firework show.

We usually ride out to the main body too, even though it's a good 30 min boat ride, but this year everyone was on a different page.

I refuse to go watch it out of the water. The traffic, crowd, etc. is just ridiculous.

OK so I have an electrical question. Currently my fridge is plugged into the bathroom outlet. I noticed an outlet behind my oven, pulled out the oven, and tested it to find out it's still live (unlike the rest of the kitchen outlets), so I stretched my a/c cord as far as it will reach and it just BARELY made it. So now I have my half assed a/c running again, but should I be afraid of blowing a new circuit? Let's say the outlet behind the oven is connected to the bathroom circuit, which now has the fridge and a/c. Is this a bad idea? It should only be temporary but I have no idea how long these maintenance guys are going to take.

The issue the last time my kitchen power went out was because something caused the wires in the GFI to come loose, possibly (in my head at least) from the a/c compressor constantly shutting on and off during the day. I have a feeling this is the same reason the kitchen is out again this time, because the wires came out. Will this just make the wires come out in the bathroom circuit?

I hope that makes sense, I'm not a handyman and don't wanna mess with plugging the wires back into the GFI myself, even after searching for Youtube instructional videos.

This must be the apartment from hell. Seriously, you might want to look at a basement apartment or something like that next time you move.

Had a bombshell yesterday. I'm deploying in Oct. I'm gonna miss my sons first birthday and christmas. Bummed out big time.

Any idea what you're majoring in?

More than likely Communications/Journalism (Have a few prereqs to take before I can even get into the major). Still seeing if anything else catches my interest though.

Drive is so much better when you watch it with surround sound. It felt like I was right there in the car the entire time. Plus the soundtrack to that movie is awesome.

Still havent gotten my power back at my parents house since the Thunderstorm last week. Every one else in my family has there power back since yesterday, hopefully our power comes back on today. My parents stayed over my aunts because of air. I stayed over my gmoms because it was too crowded even if It felt comfortable(air wise) over there. I went back over there a few days ago and the spoiled food had our house smelling terrible.
I forgot how I use to get my self to sleep on the couch on the hot nights over my gmoms. I dont like having the fans on high because it gives me allergies. My eyes have been irritated for the last few days.

It amazes me how fast someone can go from "loving" you to ****ing someone else like it's nothing
