 Re: Off Topic 2012

Finally did the blood test that I've been long overdue on and got a haircut. It was not bad of a day cept it was raining all throughout. I've also been trying to manage my time better. Who knew that having a GF would take so much out of a guy's day? LOL

 Re: Off Topic 2012

Don't worry, I know this. I'm not just working my calves so Johnny Drama will notice them.

Working tonight was a bitch though. I almost considered not taking my breaks because it was so damn painful trying to stand back up after sitting down for 15-30 minutes. I've learned my lesson.Last edited by BlueNGold; 08-10-2012, 07:41 AM.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

 Re: Off Topic 2012

I'm the kind of person that usually ends up changing something anyway, even if I think already looks good.I think it's confusing as well. What does the 94th mean?

94th is my little clan or.. group that consists of me and my two buddies. The actual name came from us both being born in '94, although my other friend is two years older.

I'd be willing to let others join in with us, I can't ever see us entering clan battles and stuff though, we're more than your average casual gamers but we're not pro. We just enjoy the game and like to be competitive.Comment

I would also love to dunk, I'm 6'4'' and 20 years old so it bothers me that I can't do it when I should even though I'm not athletic. I'd at least like to make a soft dunk, I can conform myself with that because one of my lifetime dreams is to dunk a basketball. I'm not that far away from it, I'm a just couple of inches short of accomplishing it. I think that I'll commit myself to try hard to get ready to make one, go to the gym and do the exercise necessary to make it work. For those who know, besides doing jump squats (how many per day would be recommended to do btw) what type of exercise should I do to get my body good enough to dunk?Comment

 Re: Off Topic 2012

I made 1000 shots today while doing my basketball workouts... I'm wiped. I estimated that I ran/jogged/walked (just walked a little bit, not much :wink around 13 miles chasing the ball down. Great feeling though once I hit that last shot. around 13 miles chasing the ball down. Re: Off Topic 2012

I remember when I could dunk (well, a woman's ball. I could never palm a men's ball so my dunk attempts there would consist of the ball falling out of my hand and I'd just grab the rim).

I'm way out of shape now even though I play a few times a week. Just got the no go on playing any bball from the doctor due to my back. Chicago Bears Chicago Bears

 Re: Off Topic 2012

Any kind of explosive exercises will help. Working out 3-4 days per week and mixing up exercises like weighted jump squats (even just the bar on your shoulders will help), rocket jumps (repeated jumps, I use the rim as my goal to touch every jump), and Olympic style lifts will help. I personally do Crossfit as it is high interval training with lots of Olympic lifts combined with some cardio and gymnastics. If you've never done any Olympic style lifts, then go very light to start out and make sure your form is good.I would also love to dunk, I'm 6'4'' and 20 years old so it bothers me that I can't do it when I should even though I'm not athletic.
