Re: Off Topic 2012
I grew up in Scarborough which is not exactly one of the better areas of the GTA and then lived there again for a year or so later on in life. I was pretty lucky that nothing happened to me though truth be told I lived in a more stable area. The closest thing to any danger I had living there was one time when I went to the mall and come home. Apparently about 5 minutes after I left the mall there was a shooting.
I thanked my lucky stars that I wasn't in the crossfire. I dunno how I would've reacted to that.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

...reading the last few pages in this thread and Eric B and Rakim "the Ghetto" just came on my music shuffle at the same time. Made me chuckle.HELLO BROOKYLN.

Just snagged two tickets to this weekends Auburn game for $45... pretty good seats too. Apparently one of my new co workers is an AU graduate and has a really good source. Problem? I work Saturday. I may look to sell them and make some money.

Re: Off Topic 2012
While we're on the subject of dating AGAIN, what's everyone's take on the cost of a standard date (ex: dinner and a movie) ? We had a huge discussion about it at work a few days ago and I said I thought over $100 was a lot to spend for the average person on a first date... should cover dinner, a few drinks, and a movie with no problem.Last edited by AUChase; 09-13-2012, 07:08 PM.Comment

GI Joes and TF. Greatest toy lines ever.
Side and somewhat morbid note. After a while most of my joes rubber bands inside broke, so I ended up having a box o body parts (I'm talking like a shoebox full). And started mixing and matching with some cheap rubber bands to make some new frankenstien joes. Yo joe.
Also those G1 transformers made out of mostly metal with some plastic parts? Them things wouldn't see the market now with parents deeming them "too dangerous".HELLO BROOKYLN.
