                                It is only expensive up front when you 1st build one. After that, not really. Spend big up front, the foundation of a gaming PC can last for years, with you only having to upgrade the graphics card every 3 years.

                                    It's not as hard as it first seems. It just requires patience, and a tolerance for fiddly things.

                                        Exactly what I did. Had the extra dough laying around after medical bill issue got sorted out, so I took some of that and dropped it on this build.

                                        I'll be set for 2-3 years at least, barring anything super crazy happening. I went with some nice GTX680 FTW+ (4gb) for SLI cards. They better last, or I'm starting a riot.

                                            I plan on doing the same down the line once i get a little extra savings for the initial purchase of parts and the case.

                                                        I made the mistake of installing the 32 bit version of Win7. I'm gonna have to install 64 bit if I want to upgrade my RAM any. :-(
